Controversial Frankfurt city repair

For over 200 million euros, Frankfurt has restored a piece of history-
The old town, which was destroyed in 1945, was rebuilt behind the Römer reconstructed years ago.
The houses, which were partly built with historical building materials and rebuilt according to original building plans, are built in a perfect craftsmanship tradition, many techniques had to be revived.
 
Whether this is reminiscent of Walt Disney's facade architecture, I do not presume to judge, the execution quality is excellent and the mix between old and new architecture succeeded.
 
An area that is about 7 hectares large has now to be revived, the deciding factor is a good concept of commerce and living deciding whether a neighborhood works or camera remains accepted.
