A modern adaptation that exudes today’s zeitgeist.

The design of the decoration for the porcelain series COSMOPOLITAN from MEISSEN is inspired by the precise flower paintings of the well-known Börner vases.

The floral design, created by Emil Paul Börner, the painter and former art director of the porcelain manufacture, was emulated in a modern style and rearranged.

His decor “The Garden of Börner” for the successful MEISSEN COSMOPOLITAN series has put Marcus Hilzinger among Germany’s top 50 designers of the AD 09/2016 issue’s ranking.
