Art in lift landings, corridors and bathrooms

 

With the Berlin artist Schilili (Lilija Schick), we were able to realise a very special art concept.

Large black and white photos of her commissioned work hang in the lift landings:

 

One moment - one person, one camera & one story...

 

Her graphic works are exhibited in the guest corridors, the artist explores the emotions and interpersonal relationships that relationships that define us as human beings.

The feelings that connect us and that can sometimes from each other.

The works of art are an expression of empathy and the the search for closeness, but also the complexity of distance distance in big cities like Cologne.

 

In the bathrooms, she plays with restrained minimalism in the graphics: geometric shapes, reduced colour palettes and subtle textures create a visual depth that radiates calm and clarity.
