Everyone knows the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage "Stiftsbezirk" in St. Gallen with its impressive unique library. But an insider's tip is the St. Laurenzen church next door, which is important in the history of the Reformation in Switzerland.

Built by the builder of Safoy in 1413, the renovation pressure was so strong in the 19th century that J.G.Müller, until his death, renovated the church.
However, the impressive graphic color with ornaments was completed only 50 years ago after his rediscovered plans. The modern simplicity actually shows similarities to the Florentine cathedral. And also in the widest sense to the world-famous Mezquita in Cordoba in its unique graphic presence.
