Markus was born in Baden. From his first education he is an art historian, from his second education he is an architect. In addition to designing homes and spaces, his studio deals with art consulting and helps select unique art objects that make interiors even more elegant and inimitable. Marcus combines his work in his own studio with the position of the head of the design department of the international hotel chain "Althoff Hotel Collection".
