Ameron Hotel Motorworld München
An unusual property for a hotel, because in the middle of a historic locomotive hall a building was newly inserted like a small town.
The industrial, very exciting character of the surroundings as well as the beautiful automobiles that make up the Motorworld location influenced us to create a special art concept.
Entering the hotel through the historic annex, the first sight is a work by Lilija Schick, an artist born on the Caspian Sea and raised in Celle.
Like a mirror, the large format shows the bar in a Hopper tradition. Her graphic dominance and playful use of shapes and colors deal with the theme of mobility and cars.
Her graphics in the rooms and elevator landings are in car paint colors of the 70 iger.
The Berlin artist Steffi Stagge draws her art with her partner directly on the wall with sharpie and brush.
Whether winged race car icons, "insights of a ladies cockpit" or the Italian Mama of the restaurant, her view is humorous, sexy and feminine.
In the hallways of the rooms, with the specially designed carpet with pit stops, you can admire the wall tattoos developed and adapted in Studio Berlin, all dealing with the theme of cars in a very special way.
