Heimtextil 2018

This year, the Trevira CS fabric competition focussed totally on the subject of “COLOUR“. The specialist jurors Markus Hilzinger from Fine Rooms, Professor Bettina Göttke-Krogmann from Burg Giebichenstein and Natalija Zimmermann selected 16 winning fabrics from the numerous submissions of the fabric manufacturers, which impressed with successful colour combinations and special weaving techniques. All award winners were presented at the Trevira stand at Heimtextil 2018 in Frankfurt, one of the largest international trade fairs in the textile industry.
Among the winning fabrics were "Nirvana" by Rubelli SpA, whose graphic design is reminiscent of Art Déco or the Vienna Secession, and "Soft Origami" by Munzert brothers, which convinced with its 3D weaving technique and sound-absorbing properties.
